There are many laws in place to serve children who qualify for special education or who are suspected of having a disability. This process can be complicated and tedious for parents and at Better Grades Tutoring we can offer a list of services to support families through this stressful time. In addition, not only is there opportunity for educational advocacy but also to provide the academic support that students may need to improve their overall school performance.

A list of services that Better Grades Tutoring can provide by a licensed and highly trained Special Educator with years of public school experience include:

• Representing parents in the individualized educational planning meeting (IEP)
• Mediations
• Expulsions
• Assessment Review
• Perform case review of child’s records and medical history and how this relates to the public setting
• Independent Evalution: Including formal/standardized academic evaluation (similar to testing done in the public setting)
• Formal report with assessment results

Parents determine what level of support and/or services they need. Rates are based on hourly schedule or flat rate for meeting participation or academic evaluation.
